The Brethren Church
We are part of the Brethren Church headquartered in Ashland, Ohio (www.brethrenchurch.org) that is affiliated with Ashland University and Ashland Theological Seminary. The Brethren movement encompasses numerous denominations and encourages a personal connection to the God of the Scriptures and a simple approach to church doctrine and structure. As a Brethren congregation we have great freedom to pursue the unique vision God has given us for our community while still maintaining a connection with many different congregations around the country and around the world.
Generally, we believe that God is the giver and sustainer of life, Jesus is the central focus of history and invites us into His story, the Holy Spirit's work in our lives should mean that we live differently, and that the given scriptures are completely trustworthy.
