We believe that prayer changes things. It can change the people we pray for, it can change the world around us, and it can change us when we pray for something or someone. God is not a magic vending machine, but He does direct us to pray about the things that our on our hearts and he promises to listen when we do. James, one of the early church leaders from the first century encouraged the people of the churches he was in contact with to "pray for one another." We seek to continue that practice of praying for each other at Agora Church, and if you'll let us, we'd like to pray for you as well.

If you'd like to pray along with us, there are some suggestions about things that you could be praying about for yourself and for others below. If you'd like for us to pray for you, use the form here to let us know what you'd like prayer for. If you'd like for someone to reach out to you to let you know that we are praying for you, or for any other reason, leave your name and a way to contact you.

Additionally, you're welcome to join us in person at our Harrison West facility where you can meet our pastors and other good men and women who would be happy to pray for and with you. Our church community meets there each week at 11am for a time of worship, learning, prayer and fellowship. See the bottom of the page for directions.

Pray for your community
Pray for the neighborhood that you live in. Agora meets in the Harrison West neighborhood of Columbus, OH, so we pray regularly for Harrison West and the people that live here. We pray for their safety. We pray that God would bless them. We pray that families would be protected and that people would find safe relationships with others that are life giving.

Pray for your city and state
Pray that your city and state leaders will make good decisions that consider the needs of all of the people that live in those places. Pray that those who live in the margins might find compassion and safety.

Pray for your nation world
Pray that our leaders would be wise and measured. Pray for peace.
